Critics raise concerns about the potential risks associated with feeding pets' raw meat, including bacterial contamination such as salmonella, and nutritional imbalances including too much bone which may cause stomach issues.  Raw diets can be more time consuming and expensive to prepare than traditional pet foods, making them less accessible to some pet owners who are time poor or on a tight budget.
