Treatment and management of all susceptible strains of roundworms, tapeworms, and bots in horses.
Roundworms: Including but not limited to mature and immature Ascarids (Parascaris equorum), large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, S. equinus, and Triodontophorus spp.), and small strongyles (Cyathostomum sp, Gyalocephalus spp, Cylicostephanus sp., and Cylicocyclus spp.), encompassing both mature and immature stages, even those resistant to abamectin and benzimidazole.
Additionally, the treatment and control extend to hairworms (Trichostrongylus axei), intestinal threadworms (Strongyloides westeri), pinworms (Oxyuris equi), lungworms (Dictyocaulus arnfieldi, in both mature and immature stages), and large mouth stomach worms (Habronema sp.). The formulation is also effective against skin lesions caused by the cutaneous larvae of Habronema and Draschia spp. (summer sores).
ACTIVE CONSTITUENTS
Each mL comprises 4 mg/mL abamectin, 50 mg/mL praziquantel, and 200 mg/mL oxfendazole. It also contains sodium metabisulphite (1 mg) as an antioxidant and benzyl alcohol (<10% w/w).
Dosage:
Ensure thorough shaking before use. Administer orally only.
The dosage is 1 mL per 20 kg body weight (equivalent to 0.2 mg abamectin, 2.5 mg praziquantel, and 10 mg oxfendazole per kg body weight).
Example doses:
100 kg: 5 mL
200 kg: 10 mL
300 kg: 15 mL
400 kg: 20 mL
500 kg: 25 mL
600 kg: 30 mL
To administer, place the dosing syringe supplied or the nozzle of a drench gun into the horse’s mouth, in the gap between the front and back teeth. Carefully deliver the measured dose, depositing the suspension over the top of the tongue. Immediately raise the horse’s head and hold for a few seconds to ensure the complete dose is swallowed.
STORAGE
Store below 25 °C (room temperature). Keep tightly closed in the original container and in the unit carton, away from light and foodstuffs
